Our proposal

We are committed

We exist to glorify God by supporting evangelical missionary organizations and Christian families in educating the future generations through Christ-centered training, application and example and excellence in academics while maintaining an atmosphere where doctrinal differences are respected. We offer a US-based educational curriculum for students from Pre-K through twelfth grade, along with meeting the requirements of a full Paraguayan program. Thus, students may graduate with a US diploma and a Paraguayan diploma. ACA is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia.

Most importantly, we provide every opportunity for students to grow their Christian faith through Bible study, chapel, small groups,camps, and community service.

Our mission is to establish biblical principles of God’s kingdom in families through academic excellence in the English language creating agents of change to impact the world.

Statement of faith

We believe

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired in its original writings, the sole authoritative Word of God, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and imminent return.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation.
We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall renders mankind subject to God’s wrath and condemnation, and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by God’s grace, not by works.

Statement on Gender, Marriage, and Sexuality

WE ARE CREATED IN GOD’S IMAGE

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning; the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen. 2:18-25).
We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18, 7:2-5; Heb 13:4).
We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage between a man and a woman.

Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

Sexuality

We believe that practicing or promoting any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20;I Cor 6:9-10).
We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Asuncion Christian Academy and to provide a biblical role model to the Asuncion Christian Academy students and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Asuncion Christian Academy agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thess 5:22).
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sins, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Cor 6:9-11; 1 John 1:9).
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behaviors or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Asuncion Christian Academy..
