Short Summary of this Opportunity: The Athletic Coordinator/ PE Teacher will serve as Coach and Teacher for grades PK4 through 12, plus oversee the ACA after-school sports program.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trains, supervise, and coordinates sporting practice and games.
• Keeps office/General Director informed about sporting competitions

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (related to job assignment).  All teachers must hold a current ACSI certificate.  A Master’s Degree and First Aid certification/training are strongly recommended.

• Other Requirements: The Athletic Coordinator/PE Teacher must be born again in Christ and be actively participating in a local evangelical church and lead a mature Christian life.  He/she must be a person with clear spiritual, academic, administrative, and leadership abilities, which will impart understanding as to how to “train up a child in the way he should go.”

• Prior Work Experience: The Athletic Coordinator/PE Teacher should have at least one year of experience in PE/coaching.

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.  Some Spanish skills are recommended.
