Short Summary of this Opportunity: The elementary Teacher develops a curriculum, plans lessons, teaches various subjects, uses instruction time effectively, assigns homework, grades tests, and reports to parents.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• To meet the educational needs of assigned students
• To serve as a liaison between home and school
• To work as a team with other teachers to provide an excellent academic program for students

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (related to job assignment). All teachers must be willing to obtain a current ACSI certificate and have a State teaching certificate. A Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.

Other Requirements: Teachers must be born again in Christ, actively participate in a local evangelical church, and lead a mature Christian life through a Pastoral Reference Form. Teachers must be a person with clear spiritual, academic, administrative, and leadership abilities, which will impart understanding as to how to “train up a child in the way he should go.”

Prior Work Experience: Teachers must have at least one year of teaching experience in a private or public school and an internship through an accredited program.
